Commercial Loan

A senior debt product designed for established businesses requiring funding for growth, an acquisition, change of ownership or other general corporate purpose. Loan size is determined by a multiple of EBITDA or vacant possession value of an owner-occupied commercial property, with repayments coming from future cashflows of the business. 

  • Facilities from £1m - £15m
  • Term: typically 3 – 5 years
  • Repayment: amortising profile with interest-only periods and bullet options available
  • Security: senior all asset debenture. Parental and cross guarantees may also be required.

Asset Based Lending

For businesses with substantial value tied-up in both hard and paper assets, our Asset Based Lending proposition can unlock that value to provide both immediate cash and on-going financial headroom.  A single bespoke funding solution designed around the specific characteristics and needs of each client, an ABL structure can replace existing complex facilities and puts the customer in control – only drawing funds when required.

  • Facilities from £250k - £25m
  • Core component: Invoice Discounting (revolving facility secured against both domestic and export trade receivables). Additional facilities: 
  • Inventory Finance (revolving facility secured against trading inventory, i.e. finished goods and raw materials)
  • Plant & Machinery Finance (term loan secured against specific items of plant and machinery)
  • Property Finance (term loan secured against specific property assets, typically a trading premises)
  • Cashflow Loan (amortising loan usually repayable over a period of 3 years)
