Shawbrook Bank has strengthened its presence in the West Midlands with the recruitment of new Client Manager, Andrew Collett. This recent hiring comes as the Bank finds the Midlands to be one of their highest performing regions, delivering strong originations in the first half of 2019 across ABL, Structured Finance and Commercial Property. There has been strong demand from businesses who require funding solutions to increase their working capital, navigate an acquisition or to expand their property portfolio.
Andrew previously worked locally in the Commercial Finance division at Lloyds Bank for 14 years. At Shawbrook, Andrew will be working alongside Mark Parsons, Regional Managing Director, and his team to support clients in the West Midlands with their funding needs. With current levels of uncertainty in the market, his role as Client Manager will help to give the businesses Shawbrook works with confidence to invest, evolve and grow. The appointment also follows the recruitment of Jessica Dickinson as an Assistant Client Manager, having moved across from RBS, which further demonstrates Shawbrook’s commitment to the region.
Mark Parsons, Managing Director for the Midlands says,
“It’s proving to be a strong year for our team here in the Midlands, not only in terms of the quantum of funding that we have been able to offer businesses, but also the quality of the relationships that we have been able to build with them. I’m glad to welcome Andrew and Jessica to the team, meaning that we can continue to deliver more specialist finance to more businesses across both the West and East Midlands.”
Andrew Collett, Client Manager for the Midlands Team says,
“Shawbrook have really stood out in the region, recently winning ‘Asset Based Lender of the Year 2018’ and delivering a number of multifaceted deals to some great businesses here in the Midlands. It’s certainly an exciting time to join the team and I look forward to getting to know both new and existing Shawbrook clients, being able to support them with complex funding solutions from a flexible ‘product toolkit’ that not many other lenders can offer.”
