Shawbrook’s Speciality and Fund Finance Team has reached a significant milestone, completing five major transactions and delivering £175m in Fund Finance facilities in the first three quarters of 2025. 

This achievement underscores the team’s commitment to providing sponsors and investment groups with flexible, tailored subscription and NAV-based solutions during a period of persistent macroeconomic uncertainty. 

Deal Highlights include:

  • Working capital facility for Gresham House’s Residential Secure Income plc (ReSI), featuring a revolving credit facility (RCF) with an accordion feature.
  • A NAV-based funding solution of up to £75m for a leading European real estate fund to support development and expansion projects.
  • A facility for a fund manager with London and South East property investments to progress their next round of fundraising for portfolio expansion.
  • £65m RCF for Castelnau Group, with a  90% day-one drawdown to support their debt refinance plus additional funds for future investment.
  • Flexible eight-figure facility for a specialist alternative asset management group, combining revolving credit with a short-term-out facility.

In the past 12 months, we’ve seen a marked rise in investor funding activity due to a broadening of our offering to support funds in a challenging market. This, combined with our team’s in-depth understanding of NAV loans and the wider industry, has enabled us to refine our offering and drive the recent uplift in Fund Finance.”
