The Translation People progresses its buy and build strategy with funding support from Shawbrook

The Translation People is a specialist Language Service Provider delivering B2B translation services to global corporate firms and SMEs. Using a combination of proprietary and third-party technology and a network of international linguists, The Translation People provides business critical translations for organisations across a wide range of sectors.

Mobeus Equity Partners supported TTP with a management buyout in December 2022, enabling the business to pursue its ambitious buy and build strategy in the growing language services market. With the increased globalisation across business sectors creating a demand for high quality language services, TTP recognised the need for consolidation in this highly fragmented market and has worked with Shawbrook to secure funding to roll out their growth plans. 

Shawbrook structured an eight-figure Committed Acquisition Facility to support TTP with their buy and build strategy, which included the acquisition of Sure Languages earlier this year. Additionally, the company will continue to invest in its marketing and sales resources, and project management tools, as it scales.
