Longstanding funding partnership expanded to support Hope Capital's continued growth and increasing demand for specialist bridging finance.

At a glance
Following a record breaking period of growth and continued momentum into 2026, Hope Capital Property Finance has renewed and increased its committed funding facility with Shawbrook to £50m.
Supporting long term growth
The enhanced facility builds on a relationship that began with a £15m facility in 2023 and has expanded through successive increases in 2024 and 2025. The latest renewal provides additional capacity to support Hope Capital's growing lending activity while reinforcing the strength of the long-standing partnership.
The increased facility forms part of Hope Capital's broader funding strategy as it continues to diversify its funding base and support increasing demand from brokers and borrowers across the UK. During 2025, the lender recorded significant growth across its loan book, applications and funded facilities, with strong momentum continuing into 2026.
Built on partnership
Shawbrook has supported specialist lenders for more than a decade, providing funding solutions designed to grow alongside customers as their businesses evolve.
The renewal demonstrates Shawbrook's continued confidence in Hope Capital's disciplined underwriting, operational performance and long term strategy, while giving the business additional flexibility to continue supporting brokers and borrowers in a competitive market.
The continued support from Shawbrook Bank is a significant endorsement of both our performance and our long term strategy. This enhanced facility gives us the strength, flexibility and liquidity to continue supporting brokers and borrowers as demand for specialist bridging finance continues to grow. Maintaining strong relationships with trusted funding partners remains central to our strategy and our ability to deliver market leading service.
Kate Cowan, Chief Financial and Operating Officer at Hope Capital Property Finance, added:
"This enhanced facility strengthens our day-to-day operational capacity and ensures we are well positioned to manage increasing volumes while maintaining the standard of service we are known for. Our focus remains on scaling sustainably and continuing to build on the success we've had.”
Warren Mutch, Head of Speciality and Fund Finance at Shawbrook, commented on the strengthened partnership:
"Hope Capital Property Finance has delivered consistent and sustainable growth, underpinned by disciplined underwriting and a clear strategic direction. It's been rewarding to support the business over several years as our partnership has evolved, and this latest increase reflects both the strength of the relationship and our confidence in the team as they continue to expand."
