Personal Loans income and expenditure form

A personal loan, or an unsecured loan, is a loan that is not secured on your home or any other asset. We provide unsecured loans for weddings, debt consolidation, home improvements, car loans and more. You'll have applied for your loan directly from Shawbrook.

Our point of sale loans are unsecured loans, just like our personal loans. Although Shawbrook provide the loans, you may have applied for the loan as part of a purchase. We work with different partners to provide finance to customers. Usually, it's an arrangement where you get the goods or services you want now, and arrange to pay it off over a period of time. This might have been called a 'point of sale loan', or 'partner finance'.

Mortgage income and expenditure form

Most people just call this a mortgage. It's a loan secured on the property you live in. Being 'first charge' just means that if you sell the property, we have first claim to any money resulting from the sale.

You may hear this called a second charge mortgage or a secured loan. It's also a loan secured on the property you live in. You'll normally have a 'first charge' mortgage as well as the loan with us. Being 'second charge' just means that if you sell the property, we have second claim to any money resulting from the sale (after the first charge).
