I manage the team in Brentwood who look after all aspects of the day to day running of your account including your telephone calls, applications and moving your money.  I enjoy the fact that we have a personal relationship with our customers and I can personally make changes quickly to our operations, to benefit them.

My role involves speaking with customers to provide them with information and address any queries they have regarding the different products that we offer.

I get involved in all aspects of opening, maintaining and changing both new and existing customer accounts.  I enjoy speaking to our customers and adapting to their individual needs and requests.

I really enjoy my role, because we’re not a big bank, we are able to debate and process change more quickly to improve our customer experience. I feel we have the right people to take Shawbrook far into the future.

My role for our customers is to ensure they have a pleasant experience when opening their accounts. When speaking to our customers I try to build a strong relationship so they feel at ease when talking to me. I am the first point of contact for opening new accounts and managing existing accounts.

Operational Support Representative

I provide support for our savings customer service team by ensuring the systems used to service our customers run smoothly at all times. I am also involved in user acceptance testing for system upgrades and enhancements. Working for a smaller bank means I can get involved in more areas of the business and my opinion is valued. It is hard to influence change in bigger organisations. The people here are great to work with.

Operational Support Representative

A few of the tasks I complete in my role include supporting the Customer Service Team to ensure the Operation is running efficiently, building products in the event of a new product launch, processing both inbound and outbound payments, statement production and interest rate changes. I also enjoy assisting the Operational Support Team including the Compliance Manager on tasks relating to Risk and Compliance.

Having joined Shawbrook from the beginning I can say it is a fantastic place to work. I have previously worked in the Commercial Mortgages Department and transferred to the Savings Department in April 2013.

My role is to ensure the timely administration of customers' savings accounts, including direct interaction with customers on the telephone and by postal correspondence. It’s important to me to make sure I always provide the best customer service possible so that customers enjoy their experience with Shawbrook. I really enjoy being part of the savings team at Shawbrook.

I am the first point of contact for our customers and provide them with information and assistance with any queries they have regarding the various products and services we provide. We have recently launched eSavings and I particularly enjoy assisting customers wanting to set their account up online.
