Bournemouth-based developer, Hartdene Homes is set to create 26 new luxury apartments on a landmark location on the seafront, with £10.3million funding support from Shawbrook Bank.
Hartdene Homes is a self-build specialist focused on delivering design-led residential schemes across the Christchurch and Poole Bay area.
The developer has secured a new coastal location for its next project. Over a two year period Hartdene Homes will deliver Radcliffe Court, an art deco inspired £16.0 million complex of 26 executive apartments with extensive sea views. The property will offer residents access to private landscaped gardens and sits on a landmark position on the seafront.
Introduced by real estate capital advisory LEXI Finance, Shawbrook Bank has arranged a £10.3 million development finance facility to support Hartdene Homes with the project.
This transaction, along with a handful of other Shawbrook funded developments in the region reflect the increased popularity of coastal residential homes following the shift to homeworking.
Tristan Pinckston, Director of Hartdene Homes, comments:
“We established Hartdene to build high quality homes in premier developments across the Christchurch and Poole Bay area that provide design led living spaces for our clients.
“For our latest project, we were looking to work with a funder who could support our development style. Shawbrook knew the terrain and understood our strategy. We believe that this and the continued support throughout the project thus far is a recipe for success with Radcliffe Court and hopefully future projects too.”
John Hughes, Relationship Director at Shawbrook, comments:
“The South and South West have proven popular for new developments over the last year, especially as more people homework and can relocate to coastal areas or look to buy second homes in the UK. Radcliffe Court is a particularly interesting project as it combines new luxury homes with an art deco style which is in keeping with the character of the area.
“Having been approached by Sam at LEXI to discuss this opportunity, we knew of the reputation that the Hartdene team had in the region, and we were impressed with the quality and attention to detail shown on the Radcliffe Court development. We look forward to supporting Tristan and his team as they complete this exciting project.”
Sam Le Pard, co-founder at LEXI Finance, comments:
“We’re proud to have worked with Hartdene Homes to secure funding for Radcliffe Court, which will inevitably become a landmark building on Bournemouth’s coastline.
“LEXI continue to support developers to secure the most appropriate funding for their projects and are very grateful to Shawbrook for their diligence in underwriting this scheme, offering market leading terms and being unwavering in their execution.”
