Shawbrook Bank has been shortlisted three times in an upcoming awards ceremony which is regarded as a benchmark for excellence in the UK’s consumer finance market.
The Personal Finance Awards are voted for by UK consumers and is run by The Money Pages, the sister brand of What Mortgage. The awards are well known and established and – with the winners decided via votes from customers – places the consumer experience very much at its heart.
It is an annual event – this year marks its 23rd – held to recognise the achievements of banks and financial institutions offering consumer finance products.
This year, Shawbrook has received a trio of nominations with its Consumer, Property and Savings divisions all represented.
The specialist bank has been shortlisted in the ‘Best Personal Loans Lender’, ‘Best BTL Mortgage Lender’ and ‘Best Cash ISA’ categories.
Julian Hynd, Shawbrook’s Chief Operating Officer, said:
“We are thrilled to be recognised in not one, but three categories.
“A trio of nominations is gratifying and demonstrates we are succeeding in our commitment to serve the needs of SME’s and individuals in the UK with a range of lending and savings products.
“We are a growing UK specialist bank that challenges the conventional approach of the mainstream banks, with our thoughtful and good-sense approach to the way we do business.
“As a specialist Bank which is very much customer focussed, to win or even be highly commended would be a great achievement in itself.”
The categories are won by the successful bank or financial institution with the most votes.
Last year, more than 20,000 votes were cast across all categories with the final winners announced at an awards presentation evening in London.
Shawbrook was highly commended in both the ‘Best Personal Loans Lender’ and ‘Best Cash ISA’ categories in 2019.6
Julian added: “If you’re a satisfied Shawbrook customer, we’d love for you to vote us.”
This year, voting closes on Sunday, November 1st, 2020.
