Shawbrook Bank has provided timber door distribution company, JB Kind, with a line of funding to support ongoing growth as they further establish themselves as a market leading supplier of high specification timber doors.

JB Kind, established over 140 years ago, originally as a timber merchant supplying the Derbyshire and South Staffordshire region, has specialised in timber door distribution for the past three decades supplying the builder’s merchant, specialist retailers and national house builders. Based in Swadlincote, the company now has over 50 employees and has a growing product portfolio of more than 200 door designs.

Recognising the potential of the business and quality of the products it supplies, the regional Shawbrook team worked closely with the management team at JB Kind to structure a facility that delivered the quantum and flexibility required to meet their strategic objectives.

The company was introduced to Shawbrook Bank through their advisors, Springboard Corporate Finance.
