Our bridging products

These products are widely used in the market with the primary purposes being to cater for ‘chain breaks’, and/or downsizing.  We can support customers that don’t want to run the risk of losing a desired property because of an unforeseen delay in selling their existing property. Bridging finance is used to secure the new property, sell their existing property, and then pay down the finance with these funds. Simple.

Shawbrook product options:

  • Your customer wishes to buy a property and carry out light refurbishment works (on the new property, or on the existing property to enhance value pre-sale). 
  • Your customer wishes to buy a property with no refurbishment works planned.
