The prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of Shawbrook Bank Limited (“Shawbrook Bank”), their family members, agents or anyone else connected in any way with the prize draw or helping set up or administer the prize draw.
Entry is free via completion of an online webform hosted on the Shawbrook Bank website through the internet only and only one entry per person is permitted.
The prize is as specified: One John Lewis voucher at the value of £1,000 to be won for the selected winner nominated in the prize draw.
The prize draw will open Monday 15th November 2021 and closing date for entry is 5pm on Thursday 25th November 2021. Entries made after this time will not be included in the prize draw.
Shawbrook Bank accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind and is not responsible for inaccurate prize details connected with this prize draw.
No cash alternative to the prize is offered. The prize is not transferable. The prize is subject to availability and Shawbrook Bank reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent or higher value without giving notice.
Shawbrook Bank reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend or amend the promotion if it becomes necessary to do so.
Shawbrook Bank holds no responsibility for entries not received.
One winner will be selected at random in accordance with the laws of chance.
The winner will be notified by the email address provided through the online webform within 7 working days of the closing date, where they must respond in order to provide the relevant data to organise and fulfil delivery of the prize.
If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond to claim the prize within 7 working days of being notified, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and Shawbrook Bank will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
Shawbrook Bank will liaise with the winner to organise how the prize will be delivered.
Shawbrook Bank’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
The prize draw and these terms and conditions is governed by English law and any disputes is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
Shawbrook Bank must make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation Shawbrook Bank will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails firstname.lastname@example.org or writes to Shawbrook Bank Limited, Sunderland SR43 4AG (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in condition 4. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact Shawbrook Bank at email@example.com. In such circumstances, Shawbrook Bank must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
Entrants acknowledge that (whether or not they are selected as a winner) Shawbrook Bank reserves the right to use all or part of the information submitted by an entrant for the basis of website content and future press releases relating to the campaign. The winners will be consulted by Shawbrook Bank prior to the use of their name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winners is used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the winner’s prior consent.
John Lewis is not in any way associated with this prize draw, nor have they endorsed it.
Entry into the prize draw is deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions. Shawbrook Bank reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
By participating in the prize draw all participants agree that Shawbrook Bank is not liable for any costs, expenses, injury, loss or damage sustained or incurred by any participant with regards to the prize.
